What is XERF?

XERF is a next-generation radiofrequency skin tightening treatment engineered in South Korea.

Unlike conventional radiofrequency systems that work at a single frequency, XERF combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz within its multifrequency monopolar RF technology. This allows treatment to be tailored across different tissue depths, from the more superficial layers through to deeper structures associated with skin laxity and facial definition.

The objective is simple: to encourage a firmer, tighter and more defined appearance while maintaining a natural look.

Dual-frequency monopolar radiofrequency

XERF combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz radiofrequency energy.

Using two frequencies allows the practitioner to work across different tissue depths rather than relying on a single treatment depth. The three depth settings can be selected according to the anatomy being treated and the individual’s skin profile.

Why is XERF comfortable?

One of the defining features of XERF is its approach to treatment comfort.

The system combines Wave Fit™ pulse technology with Advanced Integrated Cryogen Delivery (ICD) cooling.

Wave Fit™ controls how the radiofrequency energy is delivered, while the integrated cooling system helps maintain the temperature of the skin’s surface as energy is delivered to the underlying tissue.

No numbing

XERF has been designed to be performed without topical numbing cream.

How does XERF tighten the skin?

Radiofrequency energy heats tissue beneath the skin in a controlled manner.

This thermal stimulation can cause an immediate contraction of existing collagen fibres while also stimulating the longer-term process of collagen remodelling.

Over the following weeks and months, the skin can progressively become firmer and more refined as new collagen is produced and existing collagen is remodelled.

This is why XERF results are not limited to what you see immediately after your appointment.

What happens during a XERF treatment?

Your appointment begins with a consultation and assessment.
